Workshop on Academic Writing & Integrity

Global Studies and Governance Department organized a workshop titled 'Academic Writing and Integrity Workshop' on 18 May 2022 to raise students' academic writing and integrity skills.  The interactive workshop was conducted on both platforms with limited in person and virtually via zoom. The workshop highlighted and touched upon numerous academic literacies and writing skills such as academic English for speech and writing, avoiding plagiarism, citation and referencing, analytical writing and structuring, writing research proposal and data analysis with coding.  The workshop began with a welcome speech by Professor Dr Imtiaz A Hussain and Dr. Marufa Akter, assistant Professor and Head, Global Studies, and Governance (GSG) Department. The whole event covered by Dr. Shanawez Hossain, Assistant Professor and Lecturer Raian Hossain, GSG. As part of the academic commitment, the Department of Global Studies and Governance (GSG) is organizing a series of Academic Literacy Workshops for whole IUB students from 2021 onwards.
