Global Studies & Governance (GSG) organized the annual flagship event, “Global Day’’ on 24th October 2018 with a day-long conference focused on four themes: 1^st: Rohin-gyas or Rohin-goes? A long-and-winding or dead-end road? 2^nd: Climate Change, Static Humans, Rising Costs 3^rd: Demand & Governance Supply and 4^th: Globalization at Bay?. His Excellency Mr. Abul Hasan Chowdhury, Honorable Former State Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Rashed Uz Zaman, Professor, International Relations, Dhaka University; His Excellency Ms. Nahida Sobhan, Director General, United Nations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Bangladesh; Dr. Lailufer Yasmin, Deputy Director, Bangladesh institute of Law and International Affairs (BILIA), Professor, International Relations, Dhaka University; His Excellency Mr. Adrian Pereira, Executive Director, North South Initiative, illuminated the mega event along with other national and international distinguished speakers.
